“Auctioning the articles and costumes used by the film stars has been in practice in Hollywood and Bollywood from quite a long time. In Tollywood, we began this practice with the film ‘Adurs.’ Now, we had put the sword and shield used by Ram Charan in his mega hit “Magadheera” on auction. The funds collected in this way will be used for the aid of poor artists” said Murali Mohan, the president of Movie Artists Association.

Speaking to the media on Friday, Murali Mohan said the entire process will be conducted through Maastars.com till 16th of this month. Bidders can bid for sword and shield jointly or separately. The highest bidder will be given the articles by 20th of this month. The entire film unit will be taking part in this programme.
