Ever since the audio launch of the South Indian Super Star Rajinikanth’s magnum opus ‘Robot’ (Endhirin in Tamil) directed by maverick director Shankar, there has been no confirmed date of film release from the filmmakers.
Robot Release
There has been a lot of speculation about the release date. It was first announced that film would hit the screens in the first week of September, but was delayed due to logistical reasons. Even last week, there was a news that the film would release on October 8 as ‘8’ is lucky number for director Shankar. But, now it has been officially announced that film will release in September likely on 17th if not definitely on 24th.
Rajinikanth’s Robot Release in September
‘Robot’ is the second film coming in the combination of Rajinikanth and Shanker after the mega hit ‘Shivaji.’ Former miss world Aishwarya Rai is another major attraction to it. This much-expected film is said to include many surprises. Being made on a budget of about Rs.135 crore, the film has hogged the limelight since it was launched. It is produced by Sun Pictures. Music is composed by A R Rahman. Thota Kanna Rao, the chief of Sri Krishna Traders is presenting the film in Telugu.
